5 Days Desert Tour From Marrakech Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech ⇢ High Atlas Mountains ⇢ Skoura ⇢ Dades Valley.
We’ll pick you up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech at 8:00 AM and start our drive through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains. As we cross the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass, we’ll stop at panoramic viewpoints and traditional Berber villages.
We’ll continue to Ait Ben Haddou, Morocco’s most famous kasbah and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll have time to explore the ancient mud-brick village and enjoy lunch nearby.
In the afternoon, we’ll travel through Ouarzazate and Skoura Oasis, where we’ll visit the beautiful Amridil Kasbah surrounded by palm groves.
Later, we’ll drive through the Valley of Roses before arriving in Dades Valley. We’ll stop to admire the famous Monkey Fingers rock formations before checking into our hotel.

Day 2: Dades Valley ⇢ Todra Canyon ⇢ Merzouga Desert.

We’ll then drive through Berber villages and the towns of Tinejdad and Erfoud, known for fossils and dates.
By late afternoon, we’ll reach Merzouga, where your camel adventure begins. We’ll ride camels across the Erg Chebbi dunes while watching the sunset over the Sahara Desert.
After arriving at the camp, we’ll enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, Berber music around the campfire, and a peaceful night under the stars.

We’ll also visit the old Mifis mines and discover the unique landscapes surrounding Merzouga.
In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to relax or enjoy optional activities such as quad biking, buggy rides, or sandboarding.

We’ll continue through the stunning Draa Valley, home to thousands of palm trees, ancient kasbahs, and beautiful desert landscapes.
Passing through Nkob and Agdz, we’ll arrive in Ouarzazate in the late afternoon.

We’ll then continue through the High Atlas Mountains, enjoying spectacular views along the way.
By late afternoon, we’ll arrive in Marrakech and drop you off at your accommodation.
