Day And Night Merzouga Camel Ride Itinerary
Day 1: Hotel ⇢ Camel Ride ⇢ Oasis ⇢ Sunset ⇢ Desert Camp.
Your adventure begins at around 10:00 AM in Merzouga village, where your camel guide will welcome you and prepare you for the ride into the Sahara Desert.
As you travel across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, you’ll enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and stunning desert views. Around lunchtime, we’ll stop at a small oasis surrounded by palm trees, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Berber pizza freshly prepared in the desert.
After lunch, you’ll have time to relax before continuing deeper into the dunes. In the late afternoon, we’ll climb one of the highest dunes to watch the sunset. The view of the sun slowly disappearing behind the sands is one of the most beautiful moments in the Sahara.
You can also try sandboarding and have fun sliding down the soft dunes.
Later, we’ll arrive at the desert camp, where you’ll receive a warm welcome with Moroccan tea. After a delicious dinner, enjoy traditional Berber music around the campfire, share stories, and admire the incredible star-filled sky.
