The first stop is Kasbah Telouet, which is a withering tempered stairstep and outworks, caravanserai and fortification.
Following this, we will also be visiting the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, which is a kasbah widely known for being the set of famous works such as ‘Gladiator’ and episodes of ‘Game of Thrones.’
And lastly, barring Dades Valley, where one can observe impressive rock formations with thick oases, after having lunch in Ouarzazate which is famed for being the “Gateway to the Desert”.
Remember to reserve a cozy hotel or riad in advance so you can have a seamless check in and continue with the planned events of the evening after sunset.
Day 2: Dades Valley ⇢ Agdz ⇢ Nkoub ⇢ Alnif ⇢ Rissani ⇢ Merzouga.
At sunrise, salute the serenity of Dades Valley to start your journey toward Draa Valley; this is basically a fascinating stretch of palm groves along with ancient Kasbahs.
Stop in Agdz, a charming town surrounded by dramatic landscapes, and then continue to Rissani, the birthplace of Morocco’s ruling dynasty. Here, you’ll enjoy a traditional Berber pizza, a local specialty.
As the day unfolds, the golden dunes of Merzouga come into view. Climb onto a camel and glide across the sands of Erg Chebbi as the sun dips below the horizon.
Your night will be spent in the luxury desert camp, including time to enjoy the traditional Berber music, having dinner, and star-gazing.
Day 3: Full Day Exploring Merzouga Desert.
Get ready to sink into the charm of the Sahara. Rise with the first lights of dawn, when morning shades paint the dunes with a golden hue of pink and red.
Have your breakfast and proceed to discover this region. Meet locals-visit a nomadic family and see the age-old lifestyle that the families have lived for generations, or visit Khamlia Village for a soulful Gnawa music performance.
Discover hidden nooks of the desert on your 4×4 tour, or simply enjoy relaxing and the peace. In the late afternoon, drive to your desert camp again for yet another magical night in the starry desert sky.
