3 Days Tour Ouarzazate to Marrakech Itinerary
Day 1: Ouarzazate ⇢ Aït Ben Haddou ⇢ Dades Gorges .
Depart for Aït Ben Haddou, the very old fortified village perched on the hill, colored and with breathtaking views.
Take your time to wander through narrow alleys and visit ancient kasbahs. Take the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs and stop at Skoura to visit groves of palm trees and remains of ancient fortresses.
Then travel past the Valley of Roses till reaching the Dades Gorges, with time to admire its amazing rock formations, having dinner with Berbers in a charming Riad.
Day 2: Dades Gorges ⇢ Todra Gorges ⇢ Merzouga Desert.
After breakfast, the trip proceeds to the Todra Gorges, where limestone cliffs emerge magnificently and create a canyon.
Walk through the gorge and observe climbers working on its harsh walls. Into the desert you go, past ancient mud-walled villages, and into the lifestyle of the local nomads.
Arriving in Merzouga you can ride the camel through the Erg Chebbi dunes as the sun sets. Share in a traditional dinner at a desert camp while enjoying Berber music and storytelling under the stars.
Day 3: Merzouga Desert ⇢ Nkob ⇢ Draa Valley ⇢ Agdz ⇢ Ouarzazate.
Start the day by watching the subdued beauty of a desert sunrise before leaving to Nkob, a quiet village of Kasbahs and palm groves. Travel via the Draa Valley, with its verdant oases offering a marvelous contrast to the desert setting.
Stop in Agdz, a village famed for its ancient kasbahs, en route back to Ouarzazate, which marks the end of your great desert adventure.
