5 Days Tour Ouarzazate to Marrakech Itinerary
Day 1: Ouarzazate ⇢ Aït Ben Haddou ⇢ Dades Gorges .
Leave Ouarzazate and visit Aït Ben Haddou, with its fortified village that showcases a wealth of beautiful architecture in history related to the silver screen.
Exploring the narrow alleys offers a hint of adventure before pushing through the Valley of Roses to reach striking Dades Gorges.
Dinner and overnight at a charming guesthouse.
Day 2: Dades Gorges ⇢ Todra Gorges ⇢ Merzouga Desert.
After breakfast, head towards the fantastic cliffs of the Todra Gorge, a paradise for trekking and climbing. Venture through remote Berber villages when arriving in Merzouga to ride camels across the sand dunes at sunset.
Have a magical night in a desert camp, with traditional music and storytelling under the stars.
Day 3: full day in the desert of Merzouga.
Explore Merzouga, full day, visiting nomadic families and seeing the fossil-laden desert, and experiencing traditional Gnawa music in the village of Khamlia. Optional activities include sandboarding and a 4×4 desert excursion.
After adventuring, spend another magical night under the Sahara sky, lounging in a camp.
Day 4: Merzouga ⇢ Rissani ⇢ Alnif ⇢ Nkob ⇢ Agdez ⇢ Ouarzazate.
Awake early to witness the magnificent sunrise over the dunes before proceeding to Rissani, an important historical town. Stroll through its traditional souk before proceeding through Alnif and Nkob, a scenic village morphed with kasbahs and palm groves.
Drive through the scenic Draa Valley, stopping by Agdez before arriving in Ouarzazate for the night.
Day 5: Ouarzazate ⇢ Ait Ben Haddou ⇢ Telouet Kasbah ⇢ Marrakech.
Start your day by visiting Aït Ben Haddou, then head to Telouet Kasbah-a hidden treasure in the High Atlas Mountains. Cross the stunningly beautiful Tizi n’Tichka Pass, stopping for panoramic views before arriving in Marrakech, where your desert adventure concludes.
