3 Night Merzouga Camel Ride Itinerary
Day 1: Hotel ⇢ Camel Ride ⇢ Sunset ⇢ Desert Camp.
From Merzouga, you’ll get together with the caravan of camels and venture into the outlandish Erg Chebbi dunes, taking a break on the way to capture beautiful pictures of the high dunes, ready to watch the sunset over the desert.
Arrive at the first desert camp, feasting on traditional dinner, relaxing beside the fire with Berber music and storytelling before nesting in the tent or under the stars.
Day 2: Desert Camp ⇢ Nomad Families ⇢ Sunset Camel Ride ⇢ Camp.
After breakfast, plunge yourself into the Sahara. Visit a Nomad family to see their hospitality and way of life. The ride will progress deeper into the desert with lunch in the shade of an acacia tree.
In the evening, reach a new remote camp, enjoy yet another perfect sunset, followed by a traditional Berber dinner with music.
Day 3: Hidden Oasis & Last Night in the Sahara.
Once again wake to a beautiful sunrise before breakfast, and ride to a hidden oasis nestled among the dunes. Relax under the palms as the afternoon sweeps by.
Later, ride on to your final desert camp where, surrounded by the silent desert, you will enjoy your last night against the backdrop of yet another splendid sunset, dinner, and a blazing campfire.
Day 4: Sunrise & Return to Merzouga.
Early the following morning you will be able to see the sun rise over the dunes; breakfast will follow and then a return to Merzouga on camelback. Late in the morning, you will be back to conclude your 3-night Sahara excursion.
