3 Days Tour Errachidia to Marrakech Itinerary
Day 1: Errachidia ⇢ Ziz Valley ⇢ Erfoud ⇢ Merzouga Desert.
The journey will begin in Errachidia. We will drive through Ziz Valley, an oasis with palm groves with some really old kasbahs. Continuing through Erfoud, which is famous for fossil workshops and markets, we are heading to the Sahara Desert.
As the sun sets, we take a camel ride through the Erg Chebbi dunes and taste the quiet beauty of the desert. The desert camp welcomes us in the style of traditional Berber hospitality: we feast on a fine dinner and are serenaded by live Saharan music under the stars.
Day 2: Merzouga ⇢ Rissani ⇢ Todra Gorge ⇢ Dades Valley.
Wake up early to see the nude sunrise across the dunes; then, after breakfast, set off for Rissani, another lively historic town filled with souks and alive with culture. Further towards the Todra Gorges, that is an impressive canyon with towering rock walls precisely designed for exploration and photography.
Having had your eyes filled with beauty, we will be taking the trip towards Dades Gorges, a splendid Grand Canyon-type gorge, which is well known for its fantastic rock formations. Spend a relaxing evening at a local guest house with dinner served to you.
Day 3: Dades Valley ⇢ Ait Ben Haddou ⇢ High Atlas Mountains ⇢ Marrakech.
Breakfast leads us to Ouarzazate, where we will visit the iconic Aït Ben Haddou, an ancient ksar that has starred in several films and TV shows. Explore its feudal alleys and quaint past.
Continuing onwards across the exhilarating High Atlas Mountains, we will cross some of the most breathtaking landscapes and Berber villages as we reach Marrakech in the evening, completing your trip into the desert.
