8 Days Tour From Casablanca Itinerary

Day 1: Casablanca ⇢ Rabat.

In the first day of our trip, we start in Casablanca, where you will have an opportunity to visit the truly astonishing Hassan II Mosque. The mosque is out of the question the most breathtaking and huge mosque.

Rabat, Morocco’s capital is the next place to explore. In this city, you can visit the Royal Palace, Hassan Tower, and the Kasbah of the Udayas, which is very interesting, especially in the evening, when it is lit by colored lights.

You will get the chance to meet with the local family and have a dinner sleeping in the house of a local family which will be a unique experience of its kind.

Day 2: Rabat ⇢ Chefchaouen.

After having breakfast, begin driving to Chefchaouen, the breathtaking “Blue Pearl” of Morocco, which is tucked away in the Rif Mountains.

Wander the narrow, blue-painted streets, see the lively Outa el Hammam square, and enjoy breathtaking views from the Spanish Mosque. Enjoy a quiet night in a riad.

Day 3: Chefchaouen ⇢ Volubilis ⇢ Meknes ⇢ Fes.

Leave Chefchaouen behind and travel to Volubilis, an ancient Roman city featuring some of the most impressive mosaics. Continue on to Meknes, an imperial city with stunning gates and old medina.

In the late afternoon, travel to Fes, Morocco’s spiritual and cultural heart; stay overnight in a traditional riad.

Day 4: Guided Tour of Fes.

Spend the day exploring Fes with a local guide. Visit the world’s oldest university, Al-Qarawiyyin, marvel at the intricate architecture of Medersa Bou Inania and witness the traditional leather tanning process at the famous Chouara Tannery.

Enjoy free time to wander through the bustling souks and hidden alleys of the medina, then return to your riad for a restful night.

Day 5: Fes ⇢ Ifrane ⇢ Middle Atlas Mountains ⇢ Ziz Valley ⇢ Merzouga.

Travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in the town of Ifrane, “Little Switzerland.” Continue on to the lush Ziz Valley through the cedar forests, habitat for the endangered Barbary macaque.

In the late afternoon, arrive at the edge of Merzouga, where awaiting camels caravan you into Erg Chebbi dunes, the place where you catch an unforgettable desert sunset. Have your night in a luxury desert camp under star studded sky views.

Day 6: Merzouga Desert ⇢ Rissani ⇢ Todra Gorge ⇢ Dades Gorge.

Optional early wake-up call to watch the sunrise over the dunes then travel to Rissani, one of the prettiest towns in the desert, boasting a very animated traditional souk Continue on and visit the impressive Todra Gorge and take a walk through the amazing rock formations Travel via Dades Valley with its dramatic scenery and picturesque kasbahs and overnight at charming guesthouse.

Day 7: Dades Gorge ⇢ Ouarzazate ⇢ Aït Ben Haddou ⇢ Marrakech.

Travel the legendary Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, with stops in Ouarzazate, the film capital of Morocco. Visit UNESCO-listed Aït Ben Haddou, an impressive ancient ksar. 

Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, which offers magnificent scenery on the route toward Marrakech.

Day 8: Guided Tour of Marrakech.

Conclude your journey with the full-day exploration of Marrakech: famous Koutoubia Mosque, stunning Bahia Palace, and the Saadian Tombs.
